The struggle of Imam Khomeini to establish the Islamic Republic of Iran started on 28th October 1962 when he delivered his first speech against the oppressive Pahlavi regime. It continued until February 11, 1979 with the success of Islamic Revolution - a total duration of about 16 years and 4 months. During this long period, he spent over 8 months in prison and house arrest. He was then exiled to three different countries (Turkey, Iraq, and France) for a total period of 14 years and 4 months.

This book presents his speeches during four different phases of his struggle – Qom (first 2 years), Najaf (nearly 13 years), Neauphle-le-Chateau (nearly 4 months), and Tehran (last 10 days after his return from exile).
